Come on down! You're the next contestant on "The Price is Right."

BOB BARKER, The Price is Right

Why should I pay attention to prices? I can't win.

BOB BARKER, Esquire, Jul. 2007

The most talked about single incident in the history of the show was a young lady seated out in the audience in a tube top. And her name was called to be a contestant. And she jumped to her feet. And she began jumping up and down and out they came. She came on down and they came on out on CBS.

BOB BARKER, Larry King Live, Dec. 26, 2002

Change isn't always good. Sometimes changing things is a terrible mistake.

BOB BARKER, Esquire, Jul. 2007

I did Truth or Consequences for eighteen years. I've done Price Is Right for thirty-five years. I did Miss USA and Miss Universe for twenty-one years. I did the Rose Parade for twenty-one years, and I did the Pillsbury Bake-Off for fifteen years. I did the Indianapolis 500 parade for twenty years. I'm a guy who's kept a job once he got it.

BOB BARKER, Esquire, Jul. 2007

Some people have suggested that we have some young male models on the show. But I think that's a terrible idea. I don't want some young guy back here attracting all the attention. I want people looking at me.

BOB BARKER, Larry King Live, Dec. 26, 2002

Bob Barker reminding you: help control the pet population. Have your pet spayed or neutered.

BOB BARKER, The Price is Right

Well, every year I think, should I sign for another year? And I do. And then should I sign for another year? And one year I think I'll probably say, no, I don't think I will. And people will say, well, you're going to be bored. Well, I'd like to find out what it feels like maybe to be bored.

BOB BARKER, Larry King Live, Dec. 26, 2002

I was humiliated to be charged with something so contemptible as sexual harassment. People think we had this big affair. It was a personal relationship that amounted to very little. I told her that I thought it was a mistake, and she became furious and sued me. She ended up dropping the case.

BOB BARKER, Esquire, Jul. 2007

I was embarrassed ... because sexual harassment is such a miserable charge. And I told my brother one time, when I was going into another press conference, I said, this is humiliating. I have to go in there and talk about my sex life. He said, Barker, at your age, you should be grateful you have a sex life.

BOB BARKER, Larry King Live, Dec. 26, 2002

I would not criticize Drew Carey. I would not criticize this show. I would not criticize CBS. I would not criticize FremantleMedia (which produces the show for the network) because I have a sizable royalty that I am paid every year this show is on, and it's going on for years. I would be an absolute fool. I hope this show stays on for years. As for Drew, he’s been charming and complimentary, and he had me on the show to plug my book Priceless Memories. He devoted half of the show to me! He's a charming man, and kind and gracious. To think that I would say anything derogatory about him is idiocy.
